Miles Davis - Doo Bop (Vinyl)
As an artist Miles was always moving forward, embracing new musical styles and creating genre-bending additions in the process. With Doo-Bop, recorded some 35 years ago in early 1991, he endeavored to dive headlong into hip-hop. The project, which paired him with hip-hop producer Easy Mo Bee (Big Daddy Kane, The Notorious BIG, 2Pac), was ultimately cut short by Mileās unexpected passing. Releasing less than a year later in the Summer of ā92, it would become Milesā first posthumous record and featured Mo Bee as producer, co-writer and guest lyricist.
