Through growth, loss, and self-understanding, Y'all - intended to be about those around him - comes as glaive at his core in a unique set of tracks detailing his life since May It Never Falter. With the upbeat, genre-mixing tracks like “Asheville,” “Nouveau Riche,” and “Veni Vidi Vici,” glaive’s success comes as the highlight of his life; meanwhile, “9” and “Polo Ponies” come over slow guitars and self-reflecting songwriting. Although “Weird” elevates the energy near the end, the project slowly comes to a close on a more personal level, dealing with romance, anxiety, and family.
