For the first time ever, "My Neighbour Totoro” has been edited by the two legendary Studio Ghibli composers Vivaldi and Joe Hisaishi for a special vinyl release. The audio of "My Neighbour Totoro - Orchestra Stories” has been newly arranged and composed by Joe Hisaishi for both children and adults to be exposed to the films beauty.
"Orchestra Stories” consists of two parts. The first of which is an introductory version with an easy-to-understand explanation of the names and tones of the instruments, narrated by Shigesato Itoi as the father. The second part is an orchestral suite, without narration and performed brilliantly by the New Japan Philharmonic.
This album is arranged differently to the the image album and original soundtrack. It’s also remastered and completed with new jackets, gorgeous specifications, extensive commentary, and liner notes.
Pressed on Classic Black Vinyl.
