Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of The Worlds is a multi-award-winning double album, released in 1978 and composed by Jeff Wayne.

Based on HG Well’s dark Victorian tale, it has sold over 16 million records to date and spawned two international hit singles - 'The Eve of The War' and 'Forever Autumn’.

The double album features world-famous actor Richard Burton, Moody Blues’ Justin Hayward, David Essex, Thin Lizzy’s Phil Lynott, Julie Covington and Manfred Mann’s Earth Band's Chris Thompson.
